It’s Chef Jay here — and I’ve got something special to share.
For the last few months, we’ve been perfecting a dish at the restaurant. Testing. Tasting. Tweaking.
And now… the wait’s almost over.
Our New ✨ Rissoles with Peppercorn Sauce✨ — rich, savoury, and made for those nights when you just want something comforting and delicious without lifting a finger.
They come with buttery potato mash and crisp, bright green beans. Simple, classic, and done properly.

Here’s a fun bit of food history — rissoles started with a fancy French pedigree. Over the years they travelled to the UK, Australia, and New Zealand, happily becoming the hearty meat patties and classic pies we all know and love.
So in a way, this dish is the elegant ancestor of the Kiwi comfort foods we grew up with. And I reckon it’s time for a little family reunion… on your dinner plate.
